Signs by Design

Selling Side-by-Side ATVs and high-end mowing equipment, Power Maxx moved into a former Pontiac Dealership building dating back to the 40’s. A lovely old brick showroom fronting a quonset hut (warehouse and service bays), with a curved wall at the prominent corner of the showroom space. After updating the brick exterior with stone and texture, the new occupants called us about installing their logo on that curve…

The sign is made from 3 sheets of ACM (aluminum-jacketed plastic) that started out at 5′ x 10′. Each one received two vinyl applications which included die lines for the shapes.

After being hand-cut, the panels were installed from the center out on the new facade surface. We designed and manufactured custom mounting hardware for this installation, as the new textured surface is spackling over foam sheets.

The sections were carefully aligned at each step of installation to ensure they fit well and remained parallel to the building’s ground line.

The finished sign is 7 feet 4 inches tall and 21 feet wide. The presentation across the curve adds to the massive impression this installation makes.
