First Due Mechanic

Stage 1 for the design team was fitting the stripe. The offset section is a single print to limit surface seams. The lower stripe crosses the front of the work bed centered on the door hinge, and the upper stripe section toward the rear centers on the storage bay handles.

Once the base striping was on, Maltese Cross Logo panels were added to the doors and wheel hubs.

Text and contact information added to the work bed.

The rear chevrons were output as a solid 4-foot by 8-foot printed sheet of reflective material that was hand-cut into six pieces for installation. The chevrons were carefully aligned and lapped between the various sections covered.

All of the material used for the contour cut sections of the install were printed on reflective base materials. Miniature Maltese Crosses are visible here on the rear wheel hubs.
